Greco Wrestling comes to Laveen! This is a BIG deal!

Laveen Wrestling is excited to announce Wednesday practices will be coached by 3 of the best Greco-Roman coaches in the nation. Greco-Roman Olympic Bronze medalist Coach Jim Martinez, Corona del Sol High School, Greco-Roman World Champion Coach John Matthews, Desert Vista High School, and Sambo National Champion Coach Todd Milhoan, of Arizona Lutheran Academy, will all be on the mat starting September 7th at 7pm. Wednesday practices will be from 7pm-8:45pm every Wednesday from September 7th until November 1st.

Members of LWC, Coach Martinez’s teams, and Coach Matthews’ teams wrestle for free. All other wrestlers are $5 at the door. Greco instruction will be followed by live wrestling.
