If you are the parent of a Beginning or Intermediate Wrestler, and you’ve put off registering your child, you may not want to wait much longer.

Since LWC’s announcement regarding the addition of Greco-Roman Wrestling yesterday, my phone has not stopped ringing. Beginning Wrestling for ages 4-6 and ages 7 & up (which includes wrestlers with black bands) is starting to fill quickly. Last year Beginning Wrestling filled within a week of practice. (And I continued to let wrestlers in.) This year it may fill before practice starts and we’re sticking with our cap.

We’re also starting a gymnastics & tumbling program in Laveen, which is driving many families to our website, many of whom had no idea there was a wrestling club in the area.

I don’t want any of our returning wrestlers to miss out on experiencing wrestling in the new facility because parents are waiting to register them. We’re using a new sports management company, so online registration is easy. I also implemented a 4 payment automatic billing system this year, so no one will be paying the full registration amount immediately, unless they choose to do so.

If you have family or friends who have Beginning Wrestlers, please let them know to register before September 6th to reserve their child’s spot.
